What We Do

19

Delivery

Providing communities with essential health care is no easy task. Medical professionals from emergency responders and aid workers in the remote areas of Malawi face a lot of challenges like poor roads condition, lack of adequate ambulances, and logistics challenges. Nkhwazi Aeros was established to provide solutions in delivering blood samples, vaccines, birth controls, and other medical supplies using our state of art fixed-wing drones that have a flight time of 3.5 hours. In doing so we are able to ramp up national healthcare systems and connect hospitals and laboratories with patients, improving outcomes and reducing waiting times in rural clinics.

Construction Management

Most projects face time-constraint. Completing a project right on time is a major challenge for most construction companies. That`s when Nkhwazi Aeros comes in with the best aerial photos, maps, videos, and 3D Models to be used by construction companies in situations where they want to update their clients on the progress of a project.

16

Aerial Survey and Mapping

Surveying with a drone offers enormous potential to our GIS professionals and Drone Pilots. With our sophisticated drones, it is possible for Nkhwaziaeros to carry out topographic surveys of the same quality as the highly accurate measurements collected by traditional methods, but in a fraction of the time. This substantially reduces the cost of a site survey and the workload of specialists in the field. Nkhwaziaeros generates Orthomosaic Maps, Digital Terrain Model (DTM), and Digital surface model (DTS) created from aerial images taken by our fixed-wing drones and DJI Phantom drones.

Cell Tower and Powerline Inspection

We help telecommunication companies with structural tower inspection, auditing of equipment, space calculation, and 3D Modelling

14

Infrastructure Inspection

Infrastructure Inspection is not only dangerous for manual inspection but also costly and time-constraint. This is why it makes sense to consider using drones to perform Infrastructure inspections for a number of benefits including; the ability to collect in-depth data, reduced insurance costs, safety, cost efficiency, and time. Nkhwazi Aeros uses drones and Hi-tech gadgets to carry out infrastructure inspections. Our team of experts captures multiple pictures and short videos that expose the cracks, corrosion, weak joints, and heat leaks an infrastructure can have. After finalizing a project Nkhwazi Aeros generates a well-detailed report that describes the shortfalls and recommendations. The Infrastructure Inspection service includes a 3D Model upon request. A 3D Model helps to put all pieces together, providing a realistic view of the building.

10

Videography and Photogrammetry

Shooting photos from 400 feet up in the sky creates stunning and intriguing images that can show how beautiful the world is. To get the best pictures and videos Nkhwazi Aeros`s drone pilots fly at a much lower height of 100-150 ft. Flying at a lower altitude helps create a clear horizon for images. Only when top shots are required do we fly high.

9

Tourism

We specialize in taking high-quality images and videos for marketing and filming purposes. We also help provide surveillance to wildlife by using drones by making sure that we help the tourism sector put an end to the poaching of wildlife animals and deforestation. Then we also provide delivery services using drones in places where it's hard to reach. The technology of drones is vital for people who can`t afford to visit travel sights in Malawi for example, the elderly, sick, and disabled.
